The full opening ceremony for the "Building Partnerships Between Archives and Indian Communities" conference held at the American Philosophical Society, May 19-21, 2010. The ceremony included a greeting from APS President Baruch Blumberg, remarks and introductions by Timothy Powell, a Welcome Song given by Watie Akins (Penobscot), a prayer in Cherokee given by Tom Belt (Cherokee Nation), a Pipe Ceremony given by Larry Aitken (Leech Lake Ojibwe), and a speech given by Chief Glenna Wallace (Eastern Shawnee).

Interview with Reuben Jacobs by G. Hubert Matthews. Predominantly consists of elicitation of words and phrases in the Dakota language, with occasional brief discussion of related topics and texts. This copy of Matthews' original Tape 102, Side B, was found in the Frank Siebert papers. Poor sound quality, including some distortion and print-through. See also: Matthews.
